Apple and Meta are among the companies that have objected to OKXICE trading tokenized versions of their shares, CoinDesk reported on November 6, 2026. CoinDesk describes OKXICE as the venture of OKX and ICE that plans round-the-clock trading of tokenized U.S. stocks, settled in stablecoins, under the SEC’s five-year Innovation Exemption, which allows automated market makers.

CoinDesk’s tally puts total disclosed objections at 67. Of the 62 companies OKXICE initially selected, 56, or about 90%, have objected. Eleven objectors were outside the original selection.

Meta, Palantir, S&P Global, KLA and Super Micro Computer were added on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Apple, Home Depot, GE Vernova, Nebius, Boeing and ServiceNow also objected before November 5, 2026.

Strategy, Coinbase, Circle and Robinhood are absent from OKXICE’s public notice dated November 5, 2026. Securitize and BitGo are also absent, and they previously told CoinDesk they did not plan to object.

Companies have 30 calendar days after notice to block trading of shares tokenized by an unaffiliated third party. Venues have up to five business days to publish objections, so the public list can lag issuers’ decisions. The deadline for issuers in OKXICE’s October 4, 2026 notice passed during the week of November 2, 2026.

OKXICE co-chairman Andrew Cuomo, the former New York governor, said at a press conference in the week of October 26, 2026 that companies outside the initial selection had approached the venture about joining. He declined to name them or give a count.

A competing Canton-based venue, TSV, went live in the week of November 2, 2026, trading tokenized shares of Canton Strategic Holdings using an issuer-sponsored approach that avoids the 30-day objection process.

CoinDesk said the venue could launch with a narrow, crypto-concentrated selection of stocks.
